Subject: Postcard from Ireland
I received 8/5 a postcard from Elizabeth Knowlton who is still traveling in the UK. It was postmarked 7/29 from Galway in Ireland. She asked that I post the following information to the mailing list:
'I discovered the Church of Ireland parish records for Ferbane and Tissaran, 1797-1822, in Dublin Genealogical Office manuscript.
It lists another female Knowlton marriage and a baptism. Today visited Ferbane Churchyard -- deserted -- and found out that Holmes who married Eliza Knowlton there are still in the neighborhood. She died 1892.'
This goes over my head, but hope it provides some interesting information to some of you on the list.
Regards, Steve Hunter

I would like to compliment you on your excellent work with the Knowlton Genealogy. Yours is the first one I've seen done using GEDWEB.EXE. Could you please tell me where or how I might obtain a copy of this excellent program?
Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

Subject: Mailing list
May I be added to your mailing list? My name is Thomas Knowlotn Pierce. My grandfather was Charles Osmond Knowlton and I was named after a great-great+ grandfather, Lt. Col. Thomas Knowlton of Conneticut and commander of Nathan Hale in the Revolutionary Ware. He was killed at the battle of Breed's Hill, I believe.
