I am searching for information about the Knowlton family who settled in Fillmore County, Minnesota. My grandmother has spoken about Mina Knowlton who married a James S. Price in October of 1888. She couldn't be the only Knowlton who settled there, but she is the only one listed in Fillmore County in The New World Book of Knowltons.

My grandmother still resides in Fillmore County, and my grandfather, Jerry Wesley Knowlton, passed away two years ago. I feel I need to find out any information I can and pass it on. I understand that the Fillmore County Knowltons were successful people. Any information would be helpful.

Subject: George Callie Knowlton

I need information on my G Grandfather George Callie Knowlton who lived in Maine until the late 1800s and moved to Sheridan, Montana with wife Debora Marsh at that time. They farmed in Montana and George mined there until his death.

George might have had relatives in New Brunswick, Canada. Some of the family history was done by my Mom's cousin but that was over 40 years ago and not on a typewriter.

My name is Kristin Wethington (maiden: Walton) My Mother decended from a Norma Luoise Larivee (Maiden: Knowlton) Her father was a George Franklin Knowlton married Gladys Barton (decendents from Clara Barton's brother). My Grandmother, Norma, is tracing the family. She says that we decended from the 3 that came over from England and went into Ipswich. She lives in Beverly, MA. There are at least ten Lewis Knowltons in the HISTORY OF THE KNOWLTON FAMILY . . . . How about giving us your line from Lewis down to you with birth, marriage, and death dates, locations, wives, etc.? I take it that LDK is as far back as you know right now.
Even if he is not in the history, we all know good ways for you research him further. Most of us are related to each other, and lots of people will help you.
