Benetech is pleased to announce today the release of Benetech PRA version 4.0.
Benetech PRA 4.0 includes many enhancements to the software. This new major release version of PRA expands screening capabilities by enabling Pre-eclampsia screening. It also contains several new features necessary for labs to perform screening with up-to-date parameters while continuing to be customizable and compatible with any workflow.
Pre-eclampsia screening in PRA 4.0 utilizes maternal factors and biomarkers to identify pregnancies at high risk for developing the condition. Patients can then receive treatment and monitoring to reduce adverse outcomes. Further enhancements in PRA 4.0 include updated algorithm options with the introduction of SURUSS 2013 parameters, enhanced sonographer management and monitoring tools, and the ability to activate pre-alerts (comments prior to interpretation) or post-alerts (comments added to reports).

Upgraded Benetech PRA 4.0 is available as a free download to all Benetech customers with a current Annual User Service Contract in place. PRA 4.0 will be gradually released and accessible for clients based on global regions.

Benetech PRA 4.0 continues to carry a Class 2 medical device license under Health Canada and is certified by UL to ISO 13485:2016 and MDSAP. CE mark as per IVDR 2017/746 is currently pending.
